With a business background that includes experience as a Certified Public Accountant
with a national CPA firm, David is uniquely qualified to help his clients achieve a
wide variety of business and legal objectives.
With clients ranging from individuals to large, multinational corporations, David
has experience in all phases of civil litigation, representing clients not only in
Mississippi but also in jurisdictions throughout the United States including Alabama,
Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and the District of Columbia.
David has served on successful litigation teams in complex multi-party cases such as a
major oil spill, a multi-million dollar post-Hurricane Katrina business interruption
suit, and a bridge collapse with numerous fatalities and property damage claims in
excess of $60 million.
David also assists his clients with transactions at every stage of the business life
cycle, including choice of entity and business formation for start-ups; contract negotiations,
collections, and employment matters for growing businesses; and mergers, acquisitions,
and business successions for mature businesses. This involvement in important business
transactions allows David to provide potent and efficient representation when his clients
get involved in disputes and litigation.
Outside of his legal practice, David enjoys playing golf, attending Ole Miss games,
and spending time with his wife, Kim, and daughters, Megan, 7, and Claire, 4.
