Robert has over seventeen years of experience counseling clients regarding a wide variety of business-related legal matters, with emphasis on business acquisitions and finance, commercial real estate, shareholder disputes and general corporate representation. Robert has represented clients in numerous complex business transactions involving the purchase or sale of businesses, formation of joint ventures, and financing of both startup and existing businesses. He has substantial experience advising real estate developers at virtually every stage of a project, from planning and financing through construction, sales and leasing. Robert is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company.

Robert is active at Trinity Presbyterian Church where he serves on the Session and as a Sunday School teacher. He and his wife, Alese, have two children, Caroline and Duncan.
